Power is the ability to produce a lot of force in a short amount of time. Examples are jumping, throwing, and first step burst. We increase these motions by:
β Skipping and hopping
π Every training session we implement different stimulus in one of these categories
π This teaches your body to react quickly
β Resisted Running
π This forces your body to produce more force to overcome the additional weight
β Plyometrics
π Use resistance and set specific jump heights (hurdles, boxes, etc.)
β Olympic Lifts
π We teach all our high school athletes the Power Clean.
