There are a couple components to getting faster. While genetics are the main factor in speed these are the things we do to make each athlete as fast as possible!

βœ… Improve their running technique
– This will make you more efficient and aerodynamic.

βœ… Add resistance to their runs
– Adding β€œlight” will force your body to generate more force to move your body + resistance.

πŸ‘‰ Chain Res. Starts

βœ… Increase foot and ankle strength
– Your foot is the only part of your body that touches the ground! This can’t be a weak link if you want to be fast. 
πŸ‘‰ Single leg Pogo Jumps
πŸ‘‰ Weighted Spring Ankle Exercises

βœ…Β Finally increasing each athlete’s overall strength.
– This will increase their power output their body can generate. These two exercises are staples of our Athletic Development Program.
