Are you about to finish your season, and looking to get back into off-season training? You may be wondering ‘How often should I train?’. First, you must know the answer to one question: What is your training age?
Beginner: No training- 1 year of training
Intermediate: 1-3 years of training
Advanced: Over 3 years of training
Beginner: Need to train 2 times per week for a minimum of 45 minutes
Intermediate: Need to train 3-4 times per week for a minimum of 45 minutes
Advanced: Need to train 4-6 times per week for a minimum of 45 minutes
Remember, your goal in the off-season is to:
- Build muscle
- Build strength
- Improve flexibility
- Improve speed and agility
