OUR HAPPY CLIENTS…

I really wanted to add more muscle before I headed off to college this fall, but it had always been a challenge. I started working out at Driven three times a week this summer and eating a diet rich in protein as recommended by Rory. In just six weeks, I saw huge results – my body weight went up 15 lbs, my bench press improved by 40 lbs, my deadlift by 110 lbs and my squat by 70 lbs.

We have two high school boys who aspire to play lacrosse at the college level. A big component of preparing for the high school and college level is a commitment to strength and conditioning. Our boys, Zach and Josh, have been working out at Driven for the last 9 months. Their transformation has been impressive. Their measurables are off the charts, such as speed, explosiveness, strength and conditioning translating into a greatly improved on-field performance. I highly recommend Driven, if your son or daughter is looking to achieve elite levels of strength and conditioning!

Unfortunately for me my soccer season didn’t end just with a loss but with an ACL injury. I was devastated at first, but I vowed to come back in 8 months better and stronger for my final season as a Dayton Flyer. By the time summer came around I was a little over 5 months post-op, so I was getting close to the end of my physical therapy. At that point, I decided Driven would be the best option to get myself back to form as an athlete. I had to focus on building strength in my injured leg. Rory, Taylor, and the rest of the Driven team did an excellent job preparing me by developing an individualized plan for single leg jumping, running, and squatting. I noticed the most improvement in my abilities after working out at Driven for 3 months and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

As I got older in life, the aches and pains started to set in and I had to make a choice. I could take it easy, take my meds and hope for the best or I could get active, get stronger and get fit. I chose to get back in shape. I joined Driven and the staff developed a fitness regimen that takes into account my physical limitations while still giving me a great workout. The new facility and encouraging workout partners make it fun to go to the gym! Driven has me stronger, looking good and feeling 25 years younger.

In our small group coaching setting, we are able to scale our programs to all fitness levels. We do push our clients hard in order to make improvements but our aim is to improve your fitness, not to make you sore!
The difference is the coaching you will receive in our program. Our coaches will demonstrate proper technique for each exercise, assist with weight selection and offer modifications as needed.
Our reservation and cancellation window is 2 hours prior to the start of class. This gives the coaches enough time to prepare for the class in order to provide great coaching.
We use personal training for onboarding clients to quickly get them up to speed so they can join our group training sessions. We also use personal training for:
- Clients who are recently coming back to the gym following physical therapy
- Clients who need extra help and are not quite ready for our group training.
Our coaches have a keen eye for proper form and are able to make adjustments to avoid injury. Our class sizes are small to ensure we can give each client proper supervision.
Beginners will see results fairly quickly (3-4 weeks), but the more advanced you are the harder you will need to work to progress to the next level.
We set our schedule so we can provide the best coaching atmosphere for our athletes which gives them the best chance to succeed. Our seasonal sessions are progressive and build week to week.
No, our sports performance program for athletes is comprised of mobility/flexibility training, running and agility mechanics, and aerobic conditioning in addition to strength training. Our adult program consists of strength, mobility, and conditioning.
Middle School – 2
High School – 3
College – 4
Adult – 3+ (depending on fitness level)
The best indicator is maturity and attention span. If your child takes direction and coaching well and wants to be at the gym, then it is an appropriate time to begin.
