MEET OUR
TRAINERS

Rory is the owner and founder of Driven Strength and Fitness. He is a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He has also received his Level I/II Reflexive Performance Rest (RPR) certifications. Rory graduated from West Chester University in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition and Psychology. He has over five years of experience running sports performance and fitness centers.

In his free time, Rory likes to hang out with his wife Taylor and baby daughter Ava, and relax with his dog, Cain and cat, Milo.

Coach Brendan - Driven Strength & Fitness

Brendan is a 2016 graduate of West Chester University and is currently pursuing a graduate degree at the California University of Pennsylvania. He is passionate about football, having played at Cardinal O’Hara high school and UConn and working as a strength coach intern with the Villanova football team in 2015. Brendan is certified by USA Weightlifting and has a FMS (functional movement screen) Level 1 certification.

In his free time, Brendan enjoys working out, reading, playing video games and watching his favorite TV show, South Park.

Coach John - Driven Strength & Fitness

John is a recent graduate of Temple University with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He grew up in the Exton area and attended Downingtown East High School where he was a varsity Ice Hockey player.

John is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is AED and first aid certified.

In his free time, John enjoys training in the gym, playing sports with his son and reading. He is also an avid skateboarder and likes to surf and snowboard.

Coach Nick - Driven Strength & Fitness

Nick graduated from Coatesville High School and is a current junior at West Chester University pursuing his undergraduate degree in athletic training.

Nick is fully certified in basic first aid and life support.

Nick enjoys working out and staying fit, but outside of the gym, you can find him hanging with friends or watching sports.

Instructor Jill - Driven Strength & Fitness

Jill grew up in Albany, NY but now considers Pennsylvania to be home. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Biological Basis of Behavior in 1988 and a PhD in Neuroscience in 1995. As a former D1 track and field athlete, Jill has been interested in fitness since high school. She taught Spinning for 4 years and began lifting weights after having 3 children. She received her Certified Personal Trainer certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in March, 2017.

Outside of the gym, Jill is a member of  the Road Warriors cycling team which participates in cancer charity rides throughout PA and DE. She resides in Chester Springs, with her 3 teenage daughters and her two dogs, Buster and Delilah.

Coach Chris - Driven Strength & Fitness

Chris graduated from Downingtown East HS in 2016 where he was a member of the East baseball team. He is currently an Exercise Science major at West Chester University.

Chris is CPR and First Aid certified.

In his spare time, Chris likes to workout, play video games, and hang out with friends.
