This series of exercise progression focuses on increasing our athletes acceleration, or the time it takes to reach maximum velocity. I would argue this is often even more important than maximum velocity due to most sports being spent in short proximity with lots of change of direction. Some key points are:
✅ Maintaining forward lean
✅ Increasing leg drive with hard contact with the foot
✅ Adding resistance to increase power output
✅ Getting stronger in low positions
