❗️At What Age is it Safe to Start Strength Training?


Have you ever heard that lifting weights too young can stunt your growth? The short answer to this is no. The theory behind this is that too much stress on your growth plates can cause fractures not allowing your body to grow properly. Statistically this is incorrect and most growth plates injuries occur in sports such as:

              👉 Football

             👉 Baseball

             👉 Gymnastics 

             👉 Hockey


✅ Lifting weights in a supervised structured manner can actually strengthen your bones surrounding your growth plates to prevent injury. Here is what we focus on with our young athletes.

             👉Lifting in full range of motion. 

                  By doing this not only will you increase strength but improve flexibility. 

             👉Use Body Weight exercises. 

                  In some exercises just their own body weight is enough resistance.

             👉Coach Great Technique.

                  By teaching them great technique early we can set them up for lifelong

                  success in strength training!
