Lauren started at Driven as a junior in high school in 2019 with the Downingtown East Girls Lax team. Since starting at Driven, Lauren has made significant improvements in her strength, confidence and her performance on the field. Lauren now plays D1 Lacrosse and is the strongest girl on her team! Driven definitely helped contribute to the success that Lauren is having both on and off the field.

I have a been a member of Driven for 3 years now. Rory and all the trainers are very knowledgable, skilled and experts in their profession,. All provide excellent training, modify programs to each individuals needs, and provide encouraing feedback throughout the session. I love how the programs are already set up so you don't have to think about a workout program, exercises or muscle groups you wll be working on that day/week. The environment and members of the gym are awesome! I look foward to my workouts every week.

Jack joined Driven in the fall of 2021. She heard about Driven from one of her field hockey friends. At the time she could only attend one session per week due to other commitments. Since then her schedule has changed and she attends 2 days per week and never wants to miss. After every class she talks about the training and how it’s helping her in sports with strength building and speed and agility. Rory and team do a great job!

As parents we could not be happier with the progress that our high school son has made at Driven. He is building strength, speed and agility as well as the confidence that comes with each of these attributes. Most importantly, it is very clear that the Driven Staff cares about the athletes they train. They have their best interest in mind and make sure that they are training these young athletes the correct way, including having them do exercises to help prevent injuries. My middle schooler has been attending sessions at Driven for about 6 months and we couldn't be happier that we have found Driven Strength & Fitness. It is hard to find a place where middle schoolers can feel at home and welcome. They make working out fun for him. His improvements on the baseball field in strength, agility, flexibility, and speed are so apparent in his hitting, fielding, and even catching - but even more so is his attitude toward self-improvement, confidence, and independence. Unfortunately for me my soccer season didn’t end just with a loss but with an ACL injury. I was devastated at first, but I vowed to come back in 8 months better and stronger for my final season as a Dayton Flyer. By the time summer came around I was a little over 5 months post-op, so I was getting close to the end of my physical therapy. At that point, I decided Driven would be the best option to get myself back to form as an athlete. I had to focus on building strength in my injured leg. The short answer is yes. The volume and frequency of your training sessions should decrease to allow for more practice time and recovery.

Middle School – 75 minutes

High School/College – 90 minutes

We recommend that our clients wear shoes suitable for weight training and conditioning such as:

In our small group coaching setting, we are able to scale our programs to all fitness levels. We do push our clients hard in order to make improvements but our aim is to improve your fitness, not to make you sore!

What is the difference between Driven and other gyms and fitness programs?2022-01-29T15:57:38+00:00

The difference is the coaching you will receive in our program. Our coaches will demonstrate proper technique for each exercise, assist with weight selection and offer modifications as needed.

Our reservation and cancellation window is 2 hours prior to the start of class. This gives the coaches enough time to prepare for the class in order to provide great coaching.

We use personal training for onboarding clients to quickly get them up to speed so they can join our group training sessions. We also use personal training for:

  • Clients who are recently coming back to the gym following physical therapy
  • Clients who need extra help and are not quite ready for our group training.

Our coaches have a keen eye for proper form and are able to make adjustments to avoid injury. Our class sizes are small to ensure we can give each client proper supervision.

Beginners will see results fairly quickly (3-4 weeks), but the more advanced you are the harder you will need to work to progress to the next level.

We set our schedule so we can provide the best coaching atmosphere for our athletes which gives them the best chance to succeed. Our seasonal sessions are progressive and build week to week.

No, our sports performance program for athletes is comprised of mobility/flexibility training, running and agility mechanics, and aerobic conditioning in addition to strength training. Our adult program consists of strength, mobility, and conditioning.

Adult – 3+ (depending on fitness level)

The best indicator is maturity and attention span. If your child takes direction and coaching well and wants to be at the gym, then it is an appropriate time to begin.
